Here on the ranch, we’ve always been passionate about what goes into our food. When you pour so much love and hard work into producing something as pure and wholesome as raw milk, it only makes sense to pair it with ingredients that honor that same standard. That’s exactly why I decided to create and test a clean chocolate syrup recipe—to give my family, and yours, a way to enjoy chocolate milk without compromising on quality.
Most store-bought syrups are loaded with things like high-fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors, and preservatives—none of which have a place in our kitchen. I wanted something simple, real, and delicious, made with ingredients you can pronounce and trust. My recipe uses natural sweeteners, raw cocoa powder, and just enough love to make each glass of chocolate milk a special treat.
Whether you’re whipping up a nostalgic treat for yourself or offering your kids a healthier option, this clean chocolate syrup is the perfect way to add a touch of sweetness to your raw milk without all the junk. It’s proof that indulgence doesn’t have to come at the expense of quality.
From our ranch to your table, I hope this recipe becomes a favorite in your home as it has in ours!
Ingredients-
1.5 cups water
1.5 cups sugar
1 cup cocoa powder
1pinch salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
Simmer all together (besides extract) until it thickens to your liking. Remove from heat and add vanilla
extract.
I added a half cup of choc syrup for a half gallon of milk. This balance wasn’t overwhelming and tasted chocolatey and sweet. However, the chocolate lover in your life may plead for more!
